Job Responsibilities Deadline Extended Event Production Manager (Prod Mngr II), Salary: $45,133 per year, USCA Campus Auxiliary & Support Services The Production Manager is responsible for the technical success of all events at the USC Aiken Convocation Center. This includes but is not limited to the management and maintenance of the sound and lighting system in the venue. Develops and implements a training program for part time employees, and departmental team members, in reinforced sound management and equipment maintenance and production labor. Act as primary contact, and advisor, for internal and external group event needs relating to lighting and sound. Serve as consultant to the venues for production equipment purchasing. Knowledge/skills/Abilities: Broad understanding of acoustics, reinforced sound technology, sound equipment maintenance and repair. Road experience in theatre, concert and arena presentations particularly in diagnosing and solving sound problems in a performance environment. Must have a broad understanding of acoustics, reinforced sound technology, sound equipment maintenance and repair. Must be able to work under extreme and difficult time deadlines. Must be able to maintain excellent working relationships w/ subordinates. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years' experience in radio or TV programming, production or engineering; or high school diploma and 6 years' experience in radio or TV programming, production or engineering. Certification in sound, lighting, and rigging preferred.

Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years' experience in radio or TV programming, production or engineering; or high school diploma and 6 years' experience in radio or TV programming, production or engineering.
