Norris Furniture & Interiors in Naples, FL is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the showroom's top designers.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and verify pricing of product
  • Identify and obtain fabrics and finishes
  • Order sample materials from vendors
  • Assist with preparing presentations
  • Monitor and follow up on delivery of goods
  • Confirm appointments as needed
  • Following-up with purchase orders
  • Liaison between the designer and operations
  • Provide administrative support as requested

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an administrative role
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Computer skills and proper phone etiquette
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly professional environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior retail furniture and/or interior design industry experience a plus

This position is ideal for an individual who would like to enter the interior design field or who is experienced and thrives in an administrative support role. This opportunity is full time, 5 days a week. Ability to work alternating Sundays 12-5 is a plus! Opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
