JOB SUMMARY:
Bermuda Village Retirement Center, located in the beautiful,gated Bermuda Run neighborhood, is hiring for Laundry Aides
Thisrole is responsible for washing, drying, and folding linens. May assist in driving laundry vehicle to andfrom laundry room.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma orequivalent preferred.
Minimum eligibility requirements - Bermuda Village is a vaccinated employer. As such, prospective new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire unless new hire has approved exemption form completed upon hire
- Must be able tocommunicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public
- Must have compassionfor and desire to work with the elderly
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual

- Ability to represent the Community in a positive and professional manner

- Proven safe driverrecord and clean driving records is essential

Essential functions - Empty soiled linen barrels, sort and load machines
- Fold and press linens
- May assist with driving laundry vehicle to and from laundryroom
- Clean laundry area: sweep floors, wipe down all machines,recheck lint traps and thoroughly sweep out
Customerservice
- Responsible for ensuring that all employees are providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Perform job duties for residents and with team members in a courteous and professional manner
- Take initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority
- Meet and greet visitors in a friendly, helpful manner (Visitors include anyone who visits the community; specifically, current residents' families and friends, prospective residents and their families, referral sources, vendors and regulators)
- Answer phones appropriately, according to company and community standards
Residents'rights
- Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights
Other
- Follows & communicates company policies and procedures

Working conditions (travel, hours,environment) - Scheduled hours; possible overtime. May work in other positions temporarily when necessary
