Computer World Services Corporation (CWS) is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as IT Program Manager. Candidate will perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities. Works closely with customers to define communication system and equipment requirements. Provides instruction and direction to, and certification over the work of staff through structured quality reviews.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
• Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
• Interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including, but not limited to, end users, computer services, and client services.
• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Manages the integration of Contractor tasks and tracks and reviews contractor deliverables.
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis of and solutions to problems.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree. Experience and commercial certifications in related field can substitute for formal education.
• Candidate must possess eight (8) years of experience working in project management or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of DoD/Intelligence experience delivering IT systems.
Certifications
• Candidate must possess an Agile project management certification including any of the following:
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• AgilePM Foundation (APMG)
• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
Security Clearance
• Top Secret
Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
