Senior Manager, Environment, Health and Safety at Keurig Dr Pepper in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Overview The Senior Manager, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) is responsible for multi-media EHS compliance, beyond compliance programs and EHS culture across KDP's Supply Chain and Corporate Offices. This person leads staff and collaborates with senior leadership to effectively manage compliance responsibilities and risks. This person guides local sites to effective implementation of EHS Management Systems, and leads a process that assures compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. They will implement a sustainable environmental, health and safety management system and drive EHS performance improvement This a remote position. Up to 50% travel required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Manages environmental, health and safety compliance and management company-wide to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local law while minimizing impacts from business activities, products, and services. + Leads a team that executes policies, programs, and initiatives to advance compliance and beyond-compliance goals for key business processes. + Develops and works collaboratively with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and local staff to develop and implement EHS components for its manufacturing facilities, consistent with corporate objectives. + Communicates compliance risks to law department and senior leadership in order to coordinate and execute effective management strategies. + Ensures all significant near misses, injuries, and safety events are investigated and abatement measures implemented. + Drives implementation of strategic EHS initiatives; identifies elements of change required to support the EHS strategy; encourages management team to balance short-term demands with long term benefits of strategic EHS programs. + Establishes a process to reduce incident rates and environmental impacts while reducing company costs (e.g., amount of workers compensation); establishes order of priority for EHS initiatives and drives their implementation in cooperation of department managers, safety teams, and other personnel. OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS: + Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by KDP and the department. + Performs other duties as requested by management. Total Rewards + Salary range: $123,000 - $226,590 + Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors + Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement + Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility Requirements + Environment, safety, business, engineering, or equivalent field. + 10 years' experience managing environmental, health and safety in a manufacturing / operations environment, preferably in the food/beverage manufacturing setting, with multi-site production and distribution oversight.. + Experience in ISO management systems preferred. + Professional certifications GSP, ASP, CSP, or CIH preferred. + Ability to negotiate and build effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, both inside and outside of the company. + Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. + Demonstrated track record of successfully leading projects (achieving goals on time and within budget, attention to detail; strong documentation and reporting skills). + Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's Principles, policies and applicable laws. + Strong analytical, written and oral communication, organizational and time management skills. + Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) + Ability to travel up to 50% of time. + Ability to be punctual, thrive in a fast-paced environment; anticipate needs and be proactive in resolving issues; and follow KDP policies and procedures. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: + Predominately sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding/computer work required (67% - 100% of the workday).
